History Of Baseball
- June 19th 1846- The first game resembling baseball was played in Hoboken New Jersey. The rules were created by a man named Alexander J. Cartwright a surveyor and amateur athlete.
- The rules gradually changed overtime.
- Gloves were not worn in games until the 1880's
- Balls were beat up by the ninth inning so later on many balls were held by the umpire to replace the balls by bringing more balls to replace the ones beat up
- Balls were impossible to hit home runs with so later on the ball was chasnged allowing home runs to be hit easier
